Second Planning Call for the 2021 Virtual Business Mission to the 53rd ASEAN Economic Ministers (AEM) Meeting

The Council is pleased to invite members to join the Second Planning Call for the 2021 Virtual Business Mission to 53^rd ASEAN Economic Ministers (AEM) Meeting on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 from 8.00 PM - 9.30 PM (SGT)/Tuesday, August 31, 2021 from 08.00 AM - 09.30 AM (ET).

Call Agenda:
During the first part of the call, Ms. Marta Prado, Acting Assistant to the U.S. Trade Representative for the Office of Southeast Asia and the Pacific (official bio is available here), will provide a briefing on the U.S. Government (USG)?s priorities for engaging the ASEAN Economic Ministers during the 53rd AEM Meeting. The briefing will be followed by a short Q&A session.

On the second part of the call, we will discuss the detailed agenda and other logistical arrangements for the Virtual Business Mission, including preparing the presentation during the AEM-USTR Consultation, key deliverables to the AEM, and updating our meeting schedule.
