Connecting the United States and Southeast Asia: Building a 21st Century Energy Infrastructure
The U.S. Trade and Development Agency, in collaboration with the U.S Departments of State, Commerce and Energy, are hosting two unique opportunities to introduce U.S. companies and their technologies, goods and services to leaders from the fastest growing economies in the Southeast Asia region. The U.S.-ASEAN Energy Infrastructure Symposium and Reverse Trade Mission will be held between December 7-11, 2015 to foster commercial partnerships in clean power generation and grid modernization projects in Southeast Asia.
The Symposium, scheduled for December 10-11 in San Francisco, CA, will
highlight country and regional energy infrastructure project opportunities that
can benefit from leading U.S. technologies, as well as the regulatory frameworks, standards and financing mechanisms available to support them. Prior to the Symposium, the ASEAN delegates will participate in site visits and meetings with U.S. companies, utilities, regulators and national laboratories in San Francisco, CA and Los Angeles, CA and Denver, CO. The site visits will enable the delegates to observe the design, manufacture, demonstration and operation of U.S. products and services that can help them achieve their energy development goals.
