As part of the Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative (YSEALI), 75 emerging leaders from all ten ASEAN nations will be traveling to the United States to participate in a five-week institute held at universities across the country. The program includes leadership development, interaction with American peers and community service, around the themes of civic engagement, environmental issues and social entrepreneurship/economic development. The fellowship concludes with a visit to Washington to meet U.S. leaders, policymakers and experts from think tanks.
Please join us, our members, and officials from the U.S. State Department and Southeast Asian embassies for a reception to welcome the 2017 YSEALI academic fellows.
