Meeting with the Indonesian Ministry of Manpower on the USABC-Manpower Engagement Platform

During the Indonesia Business Mission in October last year, Manpower Minister Hanif Dhakiri offered a platform to discuss general engagement and regulatory issues faced by U.S. companies. The Council's members have been using this platform to clarify manpower regulations and to advocate for expat working permit which no longer requires the recommendation from the line ministries. Some members will also use this platform to present their programs for the Manpower Ministry's support as a key stakeholder.
 
The meeting will be with the Directors-General of Manpower Ministry, led by the Secretary General, Hery Sudharmanto. It is the formal Kick-off meeting of this platform. The meeting is to discuss challenges and opportunities with the Ministry.
