Cambodia Roundtable Discussion with Ambassador William Heidt

In the lead-up to the Council's 2018 Business Mission to Cambodia, please join us for an off-the-record roundtable discussion with The Hon. William Heidt, U.S. Ambassador to Cambodia. 

This year's business mission is significant since we will be engaging a reshuffled or entirely new batch of key cabinet ministers, after the ruling Cambodian People's Party landslide electoral victory on July 29.  Prime Minister Hun Sen is confirmed to stay in his position for at least another five-year term, and his new cabinet will be announced by September 6.

Ambassador Heidt will provide a brief update on Cambodia's post-election political and economic landscape, the future trajectory of the US-Cambodia bilateral relationship, and offer his views on key potential development sectors and investment opportunities.
