2017 Coordinating Committee on Customs

The US-ASEAN Business Council is now registering members for a consultation and bilateral meetings at the ASEAN Coordinating Committee on Customs Meeting.

The objectives of the consultation include:

To discuss follow-ups from the May 2017 Directors-General of Customs Meeting and understand how we can work with the CCC and the working groups to develop the policies further

To strengthen relationships with senior customs officials preparing and strategizing for Customs Directors-General Meeting The core presentation will advocate for further simplification of customs procedures, implementation of the World Customs Organization Immediate Release Guidelines, simplification of tax and payments procedures, and simplification of return procedures.

Fees/Admission

US$1,000 - cost covers up to two representatives. The fees cover expenses for program preparation and execution, overhead costs for Council staff and hired service vendors, and group meals. Delegates are responsible for their own air travel, individual meals, lodging, local transportation, visas, and all other related travel costs.
