DESCRIPTION:Please join us for a briefing and discussion facilitated by Fraser Thompson\, Director of Alpha Beta on the digital connectivity strategy of the ASEAN Connectivity 2025 Master Plan. Alpha Beta is drafting the new Master Plan for the ASEAN Connectivity Coordinating Committee. Alpha Beta would like to get private sector input on the digital connectivity strategy of the Master Plan\, which is expected to focus on: Internet access\; regulatory frameworks for new digitals cervices\; best practices on open data\; cybersecurity and privacy concerns\; development of new skills\; and empowering SMEs. This session is a good opportunity for members to provide input to help shape the Master Plan at an early stage. \n\n\n\nThe Master Plan will identify emerging trends over the next decade and develop strategies for increasing physical\, institutional and people-to-people connectivity in ASEAN from 2016-2025. Among others\, the strategies include: 1) sustainable infrastructure\; 2) digital connectivity\; 3) regulatory excellence\; 4) seamless logistics\; and 5) people and education connectivity.
