DESCRIPTION:The US-ASEAN Business Council and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce are pleased to host a reception and dinner in honor of His Excellency General Prayut Chan-o-cha (Ret.)\, Prime Minister of Thailand on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York.\n\n\n\nThis is Prime Minister Prayut's first visit to the United States since being re-elected during the historic March 2019 elections\, the first elections in Thailand in eight years. The dinner will be a unique opportunity to hear from the Prime Minister on the new government's agenda for economic and domestic reform\, after the Government officially assumed duties just this past July\, and the outlook on U.S.-Thailand relations.
