DESCRIPTION:The National Bureau of Asian Research's annual Pacific Energy Summit will be held in Singapore on June 22 24\, 2016\, and will convene 200 leaders from government\, industry\, and research from across the Asia-Pacific. During the summit\, which will focus on Sustainable Futures: Energy and Environmental Security in Times of Transition\, delegates will address how countries in the Asia-Pacific can foster more robust\, collaborative approaches to sustaining economic growth and advancing much-needed access to energy while achieving the ambitious environmental goals outlined in the Paris Agreement.\n\n\n\nTopics to be discussed include:\n\n\n\n  Near-Term Plenty\, Long-Term Risk: Market Outlooks in an Era of Abundance\n\n  Implications of Low Oil Prices on Post Paris Climate Ambitions\n\n  South and Southeast Asia: Emerging Giants in Global Energy Markets\n\n  Tackling Water Insecurity for Sustainable Development\n\n  The Road to Urbanization: Smart Cities\, Efficient Transportation\, and Cleaner Air\n\n  Flexible and Sustainable National Policy Frameworks: Balancing Coal\, Gas\, and Nuclear Energy Options\n\n  Realities and Aspirations for Balancing Coal\, Gas\, and Nuclear Energy Options\n\n  The Future of Energy Demand\n\n \n\nCo-chaired by Admiral Dennis C.
