SUMMARY:Mission to the ASEAN Customs Directors General Meeting\, 2017
DESCRIPTION:The US-ASEAN Business Council is now registering executives for the Customs Directors-General Meeting. This is the Customs and Trade Facilitation Committee's flagship mission where member companies are given the opportunity to engage all 10 ASEAN Customs Director-Generals all at once in a neutral environment. During the DG Meetings\, the delegation will present a policy paper to the assembled Customs DGs during a formal consultation session. A draft of the policy paper was presented at the ASEAN Coordinating Committee on Customs on April 26. It covers the following topics: \n\n	Enhancing supply chain efficiency\, connectivity and security\; \n	Supporting new players in international trade   especially in e-Commerce\; \n	Improving customs and transfer pricing regimes\; and\n	Reviewing and advocating for the ASEAN customs integration agenda\n\nWe will also arrange bilateral meetings with priority ASEAN Customs Directors-General for in-depth discussion on country-specific issues. These meetings will provide opportunities for members to learn more about the priorities of ASEAN Customs\, build relationships\, and advance issues of interest.
