DESCRIPTION:The Energy Committee would like to convene a meeting to discuss barriers to trade and investment in the APEC and ASEAN region. We will be joined by Tom Cutler of Cutler International Inc (formerly of the U.S. Department of Energy). \n\n\n\nLast year the APEC Leaders and Energy Ministers instructed the APEC Energy Working Group to work more closely with the private sector to identify barriers to trade and investment in the energy sector. \n\n\n\nThe APEC Business Advisory Council (ABAC) is currently exploring the idea of commission a paper that would identify common and/or significant barriers tin the region.
