DESCRIPTION:The Council is pleased to invite you to attend a members briefing by the World Bank's Sudhir Shetty\, Chief Economist for East Asia and the Pacific and Andrew Mason\, Deputy Chief Economist for East Asia and the Pacific on their recent report: A Resurgent East Asia: Navigating a Changing World.\n\n\n\nThe briefing will feature remarks by Shetty and Mason on the report's key findings followed by a discussion focused on how ASEAN is positioned to navigate the challenges and opportunities associated with the US-China tariff conflict and emergence of the digital economy.  Officials from ASEAN embassies will also participate in the briefing and discussion.
