DESCRIPTION:The Asian Development Bank (ADB) will be hosting a "Tendering 101 Webinar\," which is being supported by the US-ASEAN Business Council (USABC).\n\n \n\nOverview\n\nADB is a regional development bank with 68 member countries\, 49 of which are located within Asia and the Pacific and 19 of which are located outside of the region. ADB supports projects in developing member countries that create economic and development impact\, delivered through both public and private sector operations\, advisory services\, and knowledge support.\n\n \n\nCompanies undergo a rigorous procurement process to be awarded ADB contracts. Information about current ADB projects seeking bids and proposals are available at: https://www.adb.org/projects/tenders .\n\n \n\nTo provide more information on the available contracts at the ADB and to assist interested companies in understanding ADB's procurement and tendering process\, USABC and ADB have partnered together to host an info webinar.\n\n \n\nEvent description\n\n \n\nThe event will feature (1) a walkthrough of ADB's tendering process followed by (2) a breakout room session focusing on industry-specific projects in the fields of renewable energy\, water\, health and life sciences\, and financial services to highlight the prospects for ADB financing that are available to the private sector.\n\n \n\nWe highly encourage member companies to extend this invitation to their respective business development officers and to review the https://www.adb.org/projects/tenders to assess if there may be projects of interest to the company.\n\n \n\nNote: After the walkthrough on the ADB tendering process\, four breakout rooms to discuss the industry-specific projects in the fields of #1 Energy Sector\, #2 Health and Life Sciences\, #3 Financial Services and #4 Water Sector will be held simultaneously. Companies are requested to send additional representatives if they intend to participate in more than one industry-specific session mentioned above.
