DESCRIPTION:Dear Members\, \n\n\n\nThe US- ASEAN Business Council is now registering executives for our Health and Life Sciences Mission to Philippines. We will be meeting with government officials\, legislators\, pharmaceutical and medical devices associations\, and private sector healthcare groups. The mission aims to achieve the following proposed objectives: \n\n	Developing a long-term working relationship with the new Secretary of Health Dr. Francisco Duque III\n	Support Philippines' health agenda 2016- 2022\, specifically:\n	\n		Its goal in addressing inequities in health outcomes\, such maternal and child health\n		Reducing the triple burden of disease: communicable\, non-communicable and diseases of rapid urbanization & industrialization\n		Achieving Universal Health Coverage\n	\n	\n	Supporting efforts to improve access to innovative medicines and medical products while safeguarding public health\n	Identifying opportunities to collaborate with the Department of Health and other stakeholders on private-public partnerships
